Hedyn – Office Cleaning

For the past three years, Hedyn has partnered with Bell Cleaning to deliver communal and sheltered scheme cleaning services across its social housing schemes in Wales. Bell also manages all specialist and emergency cleaning requirements, responding quickly and professionally to callouts as needed. Operating across more than 200 sites, Bell deploys mobile teams fully equipped for the work. Each team carries site-specific specifications, access codes, and keys, enabling them to carry out tasks efficiently and without delay.

Cleaning schedules are tailored to the needs of each site, with planning and coordination handled seamlessly by Bell’s internal team. Emergency callouts are managed 24/7, and tasks are allocated promptly to specialist teams. To ensure continuity of service, cover is arranged immediately in cases of staff absence. Hedyn benefits from direct support provided by both a field-based manager and an office-based manager at Bell, who oversee day-to-day operations and liaise closely with Hedyn’s team. Independent audits are also carried out on request, with results uploaded to Hedyn’s SharePoint system for transparency.

Bell has consistently achieved a 98.5% success rate across all services. Work is documented with before-and-after photographs, which are shared with Hedyn, ensuring full visibility of performance. Monthly review meetings are held to assess service delivery against agreed agendas, with any issues raised resolved quickly—often with same-day rectification. Despite the scale of the contract and number of locations involved, Bell reliably delivers the required service hours, manages staff cover effectively, and maintains high service standards.

As a result of their strong performance, Hedyn has awarded Bell a contract extension. Bell’s robust auditing system reviews up to 25 locations each month, with every audit passing without issue. Beyond service delivery, Bell has demonstrated a commitment to Hedyn’s community ethos by employing and supporting some of the organisation’s more vulnerable individuals. This alignment with Hedyn’s values has strengthened the relationship into more than just a contract—it has become a collaborative partnership built on shared goals, mutual trust, and social value.
